About Us
IPPT Calculator was created to make Singapore’s official IPPT scoring tables easier to use. Reading through MINDEF’s scoring charts and working out a score by hand takes time and often leads to mistakes, so this tool was built to give NSmen, NSF, and pre-enlistees a fast, accurate way to check their results without digging through a PDF.
Who We Are
IPPT Calculator is built and maintained by a small team of three. A content specialist researches and writes the guidance on this site, a developer builds and maintains the calculator tools, and a designer works on making the site easy to use on any device.
Adrian Tan, IPPT & Fitness Specialist
Adrian Tan writes the content on IPPT Calculator. He previously trained clients at a commercial gym in Singapore and now runs his own gym, where he continues to train NSmen, NSF, and pre-enlistees preparing for their IPPT. His focus is on IPPT scoring, fitness test requirements, push ups, sit ups, the 2.4km run, and practical preparation guidance.
Adrian draws on what he sees in training sessions and combines it with official scoring data to explain IPPT in plain language, so readers can understand how their performance translates into a score and what they can do to prepare more effectively. Where official requirements, standards, or policies are involved, the information is checked against MINDEF’s published scoring tables and the NS Portal before it goes on the site.
How We Keep This Calculator Accurate
Every scoring table on this site is built from MINDEF’s official IPPT standards and the NS Portal (ns.sg). Whenever MINDEF or the NS Portal publishes changes to IPPT scoring, this calculator is checked and updated to match. Scoring tables are also reviewed periodically to confirm they remain accurate, even when no changes have been announced.
For more detail on how updates are handled, see our Accuracy & Update Policy.
